Heey

Hello,

Just me, Ellie. We have had an amazing first day skiing and a excellent journey.
After a late start (we forgot to change the clocks.... well some of us did.)
we arrived at the skiing meet up place only 5 minutes late. We then were assessed to which group we would be put in. After a good morning of remembering how to ski, an amazing lunch and a good afternoon talking to our ski instructor I am now officially shattered.
It's for dinner now (which  Georgina thought was Lunch)
So bye bye from me
Whishing a Ha[[y mothers day to everyone
Lots of love to everyone back home

First day...

After yesterday's agonising travel (which I've calculated was somewhere near six hours-not including time spent in customs), getting up at seven didn't sound like my cup if tea. Luckily we didn't-we were woken up at eight. Personally I blame the daylight savings thing....
We dragged our skis down to the bus(es) and went to the ski slope. Since I've only skied once I was in the beginner group, though after lunch I was moved up to lower intermediate withsome other people (technically it's the higher beginner but lower intermediate sounds better...) We learned parallel skiing, how to turn (in about three different ways) and how to stop (still need to get the hang of that). I'm tired, but can't wait for tomorrow!

Ski trip

Hi mum happy Mother's Day! I haven't forgotten you! I had great fun skiing! I miss you already! Dad I havent forgotten you either! The year 8 girls are looking after me and they are very nice!

Jenny

Freya's first day

My first day skiing was fun, hard, exciting but tiring. Although it took ages to find a bus that my small group could travel on to the mountains, But we soon got there. We had to walk up a small hill, To a ski lift. I thought we would have to quickly jump on, but the chair lift slowed down enough for me to jump on. The ground beneath the ski lift was really lumpy, but completely covered in snow. After the lift, We had to trek up a bit of the mountain, where we practised skiing on fairly flat ground. After we had a small ski run we continued onto a hill, where we learned how to ski slowly. We had to push the front of our skis inwards. We stayed there for the rest of the day as we slowly progressed. It was great fun, and I can't wait until tomorrow!
Happy Mother's Day Mum!

Alfie's Big Day

I arrived here yesterday,I have been skiing. And really enjoying it,even though I fell over  about 10 times but after lunch I got the hang of it. Happy Mother's Day mum
Love from Alfie

Settling in to Sauze.

Hi everyone at home...after a very slick journey we had a vote and have decided that we prefer flying..even the year 8 girls were giggling all the way through the flight.
Our first day started off very abruptly...we all put our watches forward one hour but no one in the party thought about putting them forward two hours!!! So we rushed out of bed this morning and made it to lessons only five minutes late. With blue skies and amazing snow it certainly beats lessons at school....smiles all around today in the glorious sunshine...happy children and staff too! Don't worry Mrs Waters Alfie is fine,...congratulations go to George Adamson for making it into the top group even though he's in yr 6. More to come from the pupils...read on... Liz Brown
